Replace or upgrade, nationwide

EV charger replacement and upgrades.

Is your EV charger dead, unreliable, too slow, or the wrong plug for your next car? JuiceNet can assess what you have and replace it with a new Level 2 charger, the Tesla Wall Connector, or a commercial ChargePoint, Blink or Tesla station — installed by licensed electrical contractors from our network.

When it’s time to replace or upgrade

Common reasons to swap an existing EV charger for a new one.

Not working
Faulting or won’t charge

A charger that keeps faulting, won’t start a session, or has stopped powering on.

Too slow
Older, lower-power unit

An older, lower-amperage charger when your car and electrical panel can support faster Level 2 charging.

Upgrade
Different plug or smarter charger

Moving to a Tesla Wall Connector or J1772 unit, or to a smart, networked charger with scheduling and energy tracking.

How it works

Replacement in three steps

1 Assess your setup

We check your existing circuit, breaker and wiring to see whether they can support the new charger.

2 Swap or upgrade

A licensed electrical contractor from our network installs the new charger, and upgrades the circuit if the new unit needs it, with permits where required.

3 Test & go live

Your electrician tests the new charger and gets it online.

At home

Replace a home charger with a new Level 2 unit or a Tesla Wall Connector, installed safely and to code.

Questions

EV charger replacement — FAQ

Can you reuse my existing circuit?
Often, yes, if the existing wiring and breaker are sized correctly for the new charger. We check this during the assessment.
How do I know whether to replace my charger?
Tell us what’s happening. We’ll assess the charger and the circuit, and if replacement is the better fix we’ll give you a clear quote.
Do you install the Tesla Wall Connector as a replacement?
Yes. We install the Tesla Wall Connector as well as J1772 Level 2 chargers, and with an adapter any EV can use either.
Does a replacement need a permit?
Often, depending on your local rules and whether the electrical work changes. We work with your electrician to get permits squared away when they’re required.
Do you replace commercial chargers?
Yes. We work with ChargePoint, Blink and Tesla commercial stations. Tell us about your site and we’ll scope the replacement.
