How it works

Installation in three steps

1 Assess & quote

We evaluate your electrical panel, location and needs, then give you a clear, itemized quote — no surprises.

2 Permit & install

Licensed electrical contractors from our network pull the permits and complete a safe, code-compliant installation.

3 Go live

Your electrician or the charger brand activates it and gets it online. Ongoing management is handled by the brand’s network or app.

For homeowners

Get a Level 2 charger — or a Tesla Wall Connector — professionally installed at home. A licensed electrical contractor does the panel work and setup, and we help get permits squared away, so it’s safe and code-compliant.

Questions

EV charger installation — FAQ

How much does EV charger installation cost?
Cost depends on your electrical panel capacity, the distance from the panel to the charger, and any upgrades needed. A straightforward home Level 2 install is typically the most affordable; commercial and multi-stall sites are quoted per project. We give you a clear, itemized quote before any work begins.
What chargers do you install?
Any Level 2 charger — including the Tesla Wall Connector and J1772 units — plus commercial stations from ChargePoint, Blink and Tesla. We help you choose the right one for your vehicle and site.
Do you install Tesla Wall Connectors?
Yes. We install the Tesla Wall Connector, and with an adapter any EV can use a J1772 or Tesla charger — so your setup works for whatever you drive.
Who gets the permits squared away?
Yes. Every install is permitted and code-compliant, completed by licensed electrical contractors from our network. We work with your electrician and you to get the paperwork squared away.
Can you install charging at my business or apartment building?
Absolutely — commercial, workplace, retail, multifamily and fleet charging is our specialty. We scope the site with you, recommend hardware, and coordinate installation by licensed electrical contractors.
Are there rebates or tax credits for installation?
Sometimes. The federal 30C charger tax credit ended for equipment placed in service after June 30, 2026, but state, utility and local incentives can still offset installation cost depending on where you are. We’ll point you to the programs you may qualify for.
