Questions

EV charger incentives — FAQ

Which programs are for businesses and multifamily properties?
Use the “Business” filter above. Current examples include CALeVIP fast-charger funding and Communities in Charge in California, Puget Sound Energy’s Up & Go Electric in Washington, and New Hampshire’s Recharge the Adventure grant. Several large utility programs are closed or between enrollment windows, and each entry shows its deadline.
Is the federal EV charger tax credit still available?
The 30C credit ended for property placed in service after June 30, 2026. Equipment placed in service on or before that date may still qualify, so keep your records and ask your tax professional.
Do I apply before or after I install?
It depends on the program. Many require approval before you buy equipment or start work, and some give an instant rebate at purchase. Check the program page, and talk to us before you buy so you do not lose eligibility.
What if a program shows as closed?
Many programs reopen in new enrollment windows or funding waves. We track them and will tell you when one that fits your property opens.
How often is this page updated?
We re-verify it monthly against each program’s official page, and every entry shows the date it was last verified. Programs change quickly, so always confirm current terms with the provider.
