Why EV charging in Bellevue is changing

Bellevue is the Eastside’s largest city — home to Amazon’s growing campus, T-Mobile’s HQ, and tens of thousands of apartment and condo residents who can’t install a charger where they live. That makes convenient neighborhood charging matter more here than almost anywhere in Washington.

~48%
of Bellevue households rent

Nearly half of Bellevue lives in apartments, condos and rentals — where installing your own charger usually isn’t an option. Peer-to-peer charging fills that gap.

#1
EV county in Washington

King County leads the state for EV adoption, and Washington passed 224,000 registered EVs in 2024 — up 34% in a single year. Demand for convenient charging is climbing fast.

PSE
rebates for hosts

Bellevue is Puget Sound Energy territory — hosts can tap Level 2 home-charger rebates and money-saving overnight time-of-use rates, then earn by sharing that charger.

EV charging in Bellevue — FAQ

Where can I charge in Bellevue?

We’re launching in Bellevue and the Eastside now, starting with neighborhoods like Downtown, Crossroads, Factoria and Lake Hills. Join the waitlist and we’ll tell you the moment a charger goes live near you.
How much does it cost?
Each host sets their own price, and you see it up front in the app before you book. Neighborhood charging is often more affordable than public fast-charging — though rates vary by host.
Will JuiceNet work with my EV — J1772 or NACS (Tesla)?
Yes — and a plug-in hybrid too. Home Level 2 chargers use either the J1772 or the NACS (Tesla) connector, and an inexpensive adapter bridges the two, so any EV or PHEV can charge.
How do I book and pay?
Everything happens in the JuiceNet app — find a charger, reserve a time, plug in, and pay. No cash, no membership card.
Can I earn money hosting in Bellevue?
Yes. Any Level 2 home charger can join — J1772 or NACS. Bellevue is Puget Sound Energy territory, so hosts can also tap PSE home-charger rebates and overnight time-of-use rates. Share your charger when you’re not using it and earn.
What if there’s no charger near me yet?
