Why EV charging in Issaquah is changing

Issaquah is one of the Eastside’s fastest-growing cities — home to Costco’s global headquarters and the master-planned Issaquah Highlands, where families and I-90 commuters are going electric fast.

~43%
of Issaquah households rent

Fast-growing communities like the Issaquah Highlands and Talus mix townhomes and apartments — where installing your own charger often isn’t an option.

I-90
commuter corridor

Thousands of Issaquah drivers commute the I-90 corridor daily, and more are switching to EVs that need a convenient place to charge at home.

PSE
rebates for hosts

Issaquah is Puget Sound Energy territory — hosts can tap Level 2 home-charger rebates and money-saving overnight time-of-use rates, then earn by sharing that charger.

Questions

EV charging in Issaquah — FAQ

Where can I charge in Issaquah?
JuiceNet is a peer-to-peer network — you charge at private Level 2 chargers hosted by neighbors. We’re launching in Issaquah and the Eastside now, starting with communities like the Issaquah Highlands, Talus, Olde Town and Gilman. Join the waitlist and we’ll tell you the moment a charger goes live near you.
How much does it cost?
Each host sets their own price, and you see it up front in the app before you book. Neighborhood charging is often more affordable than public fast-charging — though rates vary by host.
Will JuiceNet work with my EV — J1772 or NACS (Tesla)?
Yes — and a plug-in hybrid too. Home Level 2 chargers use either the J1772 or the NACS (Tesla) connector, and an inexpensive adapter bridges the two, so any EV or PHEV can charge.
How do I book and pay?
Everything happens in the JuiceNet app — find a charger, reserve a time, plug in, and pay. No cash, no membership card.
Can I earn money hosting in Issaquah?
Yes. Any Level 2 home charger can join — J1772 or NACS. Issaquah is Puget Sound Energy territory, so hosts can also tap PSE home-charger rebates and overnight time-of-use rates. Become a founding host and be one of the first in the city.
What if there’s no charger near me yet?
JuiceNet already has 1,200+ hosts in cities across the country, and Issaquah is next. Join the waitlist and we’ll tell you the moment a charger goes live near you — or become a founding host and be one of the first.
